I recommend you begin with a full physical. Blood work and all. Knowing where
you are is a good way to begin determining where you want to go and how to
get there. Depending on your doctor's discoveries, you will have to tailor your
fitness routine and lifestyle changes to your individual needs.

First tip is:

                                       CUT BACK & INCREASE

Cut back on the junk. By that I mean that if you have four sodas or cups a
coffee a day, then have only three for now on for the first month or so. If you
eat pizza three times a week and fish never, then have pizza twice and fish
once.

Switch from regular to diet. And never drink your calories, except for those
great vitamin waters or protein drinks.

When you get hungry try drinking a full glass of water before you eat.

Most of all. Fiber Fiber Fiber. It keeps you feeling full and keeps you...well you
know!

Increase your exercise. Now most think that means to go and join a gym or
buy expensive equipment. Actually you can do things like sit up straight when
you are working at your computer, eating dinner or watching TV.

Watch those comedies instead of dramas, as it requires more energy to laugh
than to frown. Park your car further from work or the supermarket.

Take the stairs over the elevator, of course that may not be prudent if you are
working on the 21st floor.

Stand on one leg when you brush your teeth, cook or do dishes.
